Our Echo BearCat 3500 Extended Run Time Fuel kit was specifically developed to work correctly with the Echo BearCat 3500. It is not a through the cap, one size fits all, or a gravity feed system. Our kits use an internal fuel pump included in the kit to transfer fuel so the remote tank does not need to be higher than the generator to work correctly. Simply place the remote tank on the ground next to the generator then connect the fuel hose and you are all set. It is very important that you use only the components supplied in the kit, do not mix and match with locally improvised items due to the fact that they may not be 100% compatible and therefore inhibit performance of the kit. We do our best to select the highest quality components for our kits, for example we tested several different brands of prime ball hose before we chose the Yamaha hose due to the fact that it outlast the other brands and it stays more flexible in cold temperatures.
You will never have to shut down your generator to refuel again. Our Echo BearCat 3500 Extended Run Time Fuel kit is designed to alternate from one tank to the next while the generator is still running. Our kit will allow you to alternate between as many tanks of any size you choose. Based on manufacturer fuel consumption claims with a 6 gallon fuel tank you can run an Echo BearCat 3500 up to 13 hours at full load or 26 hours at half load before alternating to the next fuel tank.
You will never have to risk personal injury again pouring gasoline into a hot generator. With our AUXILIARY REMOTE FUEL TANK SYSTEM you can just switch to a remote fuel supply more safely at a distance of up to 10 feet away from this generator.
The fuel tank itself is not included in this kit due to the fact that it seems no two customers need the exact same size fuel tank. Here is a link that may help you find the proper sized fuel tank for your needs.

Mark A Adams –
I contacted Paul at Pinellas Power Products and asked if he ever installed the extended run fuel system on a Predator 3500, which he had not. I voiced my concern about all the videos I had watched on YT and how most were making their home made extended run tanks. 99% of which, were very dangerous. Most did not take into consideration that the unit has a vented tank and not a vented cap. In most of the videos, The major complaints were of fuel leaking all over causing a major fire / explosion hazard due to fuel leakage from the tank vent.
I had already reviewed many of Paul’s videos on these installs and I had total confidence in his professional, super clean engineering, quality of components used, and his work. Being we live about 50 miles apart, We got together and he used my generator, which had about 15 hours and is new condition, as his test bed. As usual, Paul came through with a absolutely bullet proof, and most of all, safe kit. His video instructions make it easy even for the novice to install.
Paul also installed the remote OFF system on my generator which is a major convenience when shutting the generator down in the evening and works fantastically.
I am super happy with the systems that he installed. Both work perfectly.
I could not be more adamant in stating that for the owners of the Predator 3500, Buy the kit for a safe extended fuel tank system for you to be able to keep your family safe. You will not regret it.
